Frequently Asked Questions
Weddings are where we started, but the same packages work for private and corporate events. Get in touch either way, we’d love to help.
1
Do you only do weddings?
What's the difference between the three packages?
2
The Essentials package is light-touch, task-based help. You know the day you want, and you've already made a start. We'll take the bits you'd rather not deal with, plus the day itself.
With The Co-Pilot package you want to make the fun decisions yourself, just not chase suppliers or track a budget. We'll manage all of that throughout, so nothing slips through the cracks.
If you want it completely off your plate so you can enjoy the day with minimal stress, then The Full-Service package might be best for you. We'll design it, book it and run it start to finish, including the bits you didn't even know you'd need to think about.
How far in advance should you book?
3
As a guide, 9–12 months out for full planning; less for lighter packages. Earlier is always easier, but talk to us regardless.
Do you travel outside of Bristol?
4
Yes — we regularly work across the South West and London.
How does supplier commission work?
5
Suppliers pay us a referral fee when we book them into your event. It doesn't add anything to what you pay — we're upfront about this because we think you should know exactly how we make our money.
What if we've already booked some suppliers ourselves?
6
No problem — The Co-Pilot and The Essentials are built exactly for that; we work with what you've already got.
What is the payment schedule like?
7
A deposit to secure the date, then staged payments through planning — full terms are in your contract before anything's booked.
Can we meet before booking?
8
Absolutely! Get in touch and we'll set up a call or a coffee near you.
Can you book our honeymoon too?
9
Yes — we also run a Travel Counsellors franchise, a UK travel agency that's fully protected, so we can book it ourselves rather than referring you elsewhere. It's an optional add-on at every package level and never affects what you pay for your wedding planning.
